Matthew and Ruth Ann Cramer are convinced that only through the full integration of our sacred and secular lives – as Jesus lived – will Christians fully radiate His light and life to transform our families, professions, communities and culture. 

For over forty-five years, Matthew and Ruth Ann have worked both sides of the sacred-secular divide, resisting those forces seeking to hyphenate human life – forces that dim the secular's moral compass, and rob the sacred of valid secular wisdom gained through studies of legitimate secular pursuits.

The Cramer Institute is formed to share insights and lessons learned from research, education, and discernment gained during long service in the church and the work-a-day world. The Institute's teaching is orthodox, alive, biblically based, provides practical how-to, and includes the best secular teaching validated through practical experience.

Over the last twenty years – in retreats, conferences, and personal ministry – the Institute has helped individuals develop Christian character, live an integrated life, and fulfill their Christian mission. Thus equipped and empowered, committed Christians become salt, leaven and light to carry out Jesus Christ's commands:
